Our little get away...

This weekend Jonathan and I went to Bishop, Ca for a little get away. The colors were amazing and our time was relaxing.  Here are a few pretty pics I did snap and thought I would share....

 

A taste of Africa

As you all know, we recently traveled to Ethiopia to pick up our baby girl. The trip was too huge, amazing, hard, life changing and unique to post all about it here. I just wanted to give you a little taste of some of the pictures Jonathan and I took while we were there (most are by Jonathan). I only picked a small amount, but every single place you look there is a picture worthy person, object or moment to capture. Blog was on fire.. what happened?

This little girl happened!

For the past year and 10 months we have been in the process of international adoption. After such a LONG LONG journey.... on July 28th she became our daughter!

We named her Adia.. African name that means "gift from God". Adia is our 7 month old, 12 pound, Ethiopian sweet girl that we cant wait to meet and spend our lives with.

Needless to say, this has taken great priority over photo shoots! We leave in less then 2 weeks to pick her up and bring her back to her forever family. We will be taking pictures of our whole journey and I cant wait to share it with you all.

Our lives are about to change forever.

Another KISS & a cutie!

 When there is a knock on the door and the package is handed to me that says "KISS", I cant wait to tear open the box and see the beauty inside! Once again, I am loving the quality, clean and simple design of the KISS albums.

I wish my own wedding album was half as cool as this one....

 

 

On a complete personal note...feast your eyes on this cutie necklace I got on ebay.  In total, it was a whopping $9.00. Can you believe it opens and shows a bird on the film strip. Perfect.

 

 

I know I have not blogged faithfully, but my photography has been put on hold in a way until we knew what was going on with our adoption. Still is actually. But, I have a few photo shoots this month and a fun wedding you can check back for soon!

 

I'm an aunt...again!

On May 16th, my sister brought into this world my little nephew.. Dominic! He is adorable and loves to cuddle. What a blessing...indeed!

8lbs 3oz, 19inches long sweet baby boy.
