Chris & Meagan - Engaged

I love when old friends get a hold of me to tell me they found their love! Meagan is a stunning and sweet girl so I was excited when she chose me to do her engagement session. Her and Chris have a fun chemistry....we had fun chasing the sun around Orange Circle.

Matt & Lori - Engagement

He leans in for a kiss and she giggles. That was the theme of our shoot. Lori is shy and sweet and Matt is silly and charming - they are so cute for each other. These are our friends and we are so excited to shoot their wedding in September!

They chose Seal Beach as it is a common hang out spot for them. The sun was good and none of Lori's shy giggles kept Matt from leaning in for one more "smooch"!

Guest Photo Book by Finao ....

Me likey...

I got my first request for a photo guest book for my upcoming wedding.... she wanted something where people had lots of room to sign or write notes, cute, quality but on a budget! Finao came through and I am stoked with the quality and style of their album.

Color is "Black Magic"....it is 8x12, we chose for 5 pages to have an 8x12 image on it, the others are blank for people to sign their hearts away!

Nick & Mellissa - Engagement

I met Mellissa, Nick and their daughter Faith a long time before they were engaged. It was right when I started getting into Photography but before I even had a DSLR. She liked my pictures way back then and told me she might want me to do her wedding when they get married "someday". So, she had confidence in me before I ever did! She got back to me when Nick engaged to her and said the day had come to book me! I told her -- good news, I actually do weddings now! :) I am excited I stood out in her mind.

I took along the talented Bill Blakey who is going to shoot their wedding with me in June. Be sure to check out his site for when he posts some from this session.

We met up on Balboa Island and had fun walking around and finding cute spots, colorful gates and doors. Faith was a pro and gave us the best smiles. We all laughed and hit it off right away -- made me really excited for their wedding!
