As I walked up and saw her windblown hair, sweet smile, cute yellow dress and welcoming hug I knew it was going to be a great session. Madison wanted her senior portraits done on the beach and I'm so glad she wanted me to do them. Her charm, manners and cheerful countenance was a breath of fresh air. We had fun talks and enjoyed the sunset.
Meet Madison....
If you have not seen it, check out part 1 of this wedding! The reception was beautiful... the golden light fell into the courtyard where the guests gathered. This group swarmed the dance floor and did not stop the rest of the night. The food was yummy, the spirit was lively and David and Jamie had so much fun. I even got pulled out on the dance floor a few times for a twirl!
We grabbed some pictures then headed on over to the party!!

If you are a photographer, you can find a charity, ministry or non profit organization you want to support and offer a shoot to donate. They can auction it off and keep the money raised for their purposes! I hope to do this more as the opportunity arises. This is what I made to hopefully draw in a good donation :)
I did this last year and the Joy family won my shoot. We finally were able to meet up for them to redeem their shoot this weekend. They were sweet and easy going. They recently got their new dog Annie, who now is the fifth member of their family.

I use KISS for my wedding albums but when it comes to guest books and other fun albums I go to Fiano. They have lots choices, colors, textures, products with an edgy feel. They custom make the albums so you have to give them time to make it and ship, so don't order last minute. Overall, I have been happy with the books I have ordered from them.
This is a guest book for Matt & Kristina......10x10 Smokey Blue. These books are blank on the left for guests to sign and has adhesive on the other side for you to place a print. I think this is how they keep the prices very reasonable. When the pictures are placed I think they look great and it has a quality look to it at a great price!

There is this man....he has tattoos, chain wallet, converse and my heart. This handsome man happens to be my husband. I adore him and I cant believe he is mine. Next week we will be going on eight years of marriage and I could not be more thankful. He is a good husband, daddy, teacher and friend. I honestly could not ask for more.
He, with some resistance, agreed to let me do a mini shoot of him while I practiced some things I have been wanting to do with lighting. He even used a cigarette for some of my shots! He does not smoke but I love they way it looks in pictures so he faked it good for me!
